reflect

kate left on sunday and court and i already miss her! last wednesday, i had a day off from work, so we had a caiti and katie day! we went to the aquarium, then to lunch and then relaxed and made dinner, wacthed a movie. typical stuff. we also stopped at my favorite treat store...little cupcake! on friday, we had a work party where the theme was to dress like 1940's gangsters and/or glamour. it was soo much fun. there was a swing band and a 3 course meal with free beer and wine (so dangerous!) all for $30. we had a blast. saturday was pretty relaxed, and we went out to dinner. then katie decided to stay up all night because she had to leave at 7am anyway, so why not! court was down and she made it, but i only lasted until 4am. so now courtney and i are returning to some regularity in our lives. we miss all of our house guests terribly, but it was tiring! anywho...here's some pictures of kate and i's day.

hi friends and followers!

well, we've been having a ball with katie here and it feels like we've been moving nonstop! let's see...last friday we went to a club and danced the night away.

saturday, our friend, daniel, had a fantastic party at his place. it was soo adorable. he had a tree with boxed wine (called goon) hanging from it and lights strung up everywhere and also a little campfire. it was a really fun time but we all smelled like smoke from the fire for the next 2 days. oooh well.



let's see, sunday we had softball and kate played! it was a super beautiful day and we won 13-4! we shouldn't be too proud because the girls we were playing looked about 12.


last night, we caught up with our friend heather for her birthday and had some dinner. 6$ pizzas! they were truly delicious as well. it was a good time. tonight we're laying low for once. i'm going to make shepards pie tonight and we'll probably just watch a movie. tomorrow i have work off, so kate and i are going to make a day of it. and we're all going rock climbing when court's out of work. alrighty--updates later!

katie got in today! yayyyyy! unfortunately, i was at work when she arrived, but courtney and judy were there to greet her. and naturally, they went on a pub crawl first thing! around 5:00, they arrived at my work and chatted for a bit. i love having people i love here. so comforting. so i'm out of work at 7 and meeting them for a drink at miss libs. judy unfortunatley leaves wednesday. such a bummer. but we're sooo glad to have kate here and fun times are to most definitely be had.
