hola! well the weekend was great. it was just what i needed. some fresh air...check. tiny town with 3 pubs and one supermarket...check. townspeople who know everybody elses business...check. so we (lucy, kate and i) stayed with some of lucy and kate's family friends, steve and sari. we got there saturday around 4pm. we ate dinner then listened to live music. which was really just a jam session of ccr and the eagles that steve and his friend played. so good! we went to the pub. one person was there, so we went to the next one. that's where everyone was it. we were quiet the spectacle. it was like they'd never seen 3 girls before. that'll happen when new faces roll in. needless to say, we were chatted up the entire evening. the next day we went horse riding for 4 hours at mt. beauty. it was awesome! i hadn't been riding since october, but it tends to come back to you. by the end, we were cantering like nobodies business! everything was so lush and green. the horses were beautiful. afterwards, we ate scones and drank tea and warmed up before we headed home. we were so beat. we met steve and sari for a drink then went back, ordered food and watched movies for the night. the next morning, we went out to breakfast and headed home. we stopped off at some wineries on the way, i took lots of photos. and i drove most of the way home! it's pretty easy. everything's just opposite. literally, everything i thought to do was wrong. luckily, i kept us all alive. i got home, took a bath (i was beyond sore from riding!) and watched the tube with courtney and jade...who seemed to have a great weekend too. now i'm at work with about 45 minutes to go til home time! yayy! i have about 20 pictures to post, but i'll just do 5 or 6 today...do the rest later! stay well people.
