from the coast...

court and i made it to cairns in one piece on the 1st of january at 7 am! today we went snorkeling and scuba diving on the great barrier reef. it was a fantastic day. hot and sunny, water was unbelievably warm. i'm not good with my equilibrium being disturbed, so naturally, i threw up over the side of the boat. but after that was taken care of, it was smooth sailing. the fish were beautiful and all in all it was a successful day! tomorrow we leave for airlie beach. i'm definitely going to get some surfing in. i probably won't be posting as often from here on out. maybe once a week. and i'll try to get pictures up too. stay well and warm!
