Inspired these days...

Hi Everyone! It's Courtney reporting from Melbourne, not the farm! Everything here is pretty much the same. Just working and hanging out with mates (use some aussie lingo). My job is up in a little less then a month so I am on the job hunt again! I don't think it will be that hard to find a job, probably just back to hospitality! I think Cait mentioned that I moved into a hostel right near work which has been working out pretty well! At first I was a little skeptical but now that we have cleaned up our room, put everything away, vaccumed etc....I feel much more comfortable! My roommate Marye is a super sweet girl from London who is just traveling around with one of her friends! I also have a few friends who live about a block away so I have been going over there for dinner a lot and just hanging around with them which has been really nice! It's nice to just walk to a friends house, chill for a little while and walk home, haven't done that in ages!
We have also been going to this place called Lentil As Anything. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is all FREE...really it is! Now you should drop some money into the donation box but I guess you don't have too if you don't want to...but you should! Lentil as Anything is a unique vegetarian restaurant that is run as a not-for-profit community organisation. It is largely staffed by volunteers. There philosphy is "the customer decides what they want to pay for the food and drinks they've had. They decide what it's worth and donate anonymously into the box on the counter." Each day it's a different type of food, Monday it might be African, Tuesday Sri Lanken Wednesday...who knows, but it is always delicious! I was thinking about volunteering but the training times are during my working time and I can't afford to take off work...maybe when I have a different job I will have time!!! I just think it is such a great concept! Imagine if every place did this type of thing! lentilasanything.com
So lately I have been feeling very inspired to travel, do an ESL program, go to random countries help less fortunate people! I have met all these wonderful people who have been traveling for years and love it! I came across this website called stumbleupon.com and they have so many tips on traveling, volunteering, things you need to do before you die and it just really makes me want to get out there and do it all...and thats exactly what I am going to do!!!!
Ok I am done now! Sorry for the grammatical errors and the rambeling I am doing this at work....sshhhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone!
