first day!

g'day-

it was my first day at my internship. i'm doing some design work at Award magazine. it's pretty fun. i'm just working on layouts, logo design and web stuff. it's great because it's very minimal...like once a week. which gives me time to work and make some money. the internship is unpaid! boo! but i'm also working at st kilda swim. hahaha yes i'm a swim instructor for the kiddies. so random, but i enjoy it. i'm in the middle of gettimg my 20 hours of training. then i can teach my own classes. so things are going well. court works as a waitress at a fine dining place. she likes it a lot and is getting more hours every week. things are finally picking up and we seem to be settling in nicely! 

we heard toga is in the middle of a snow storm! shocker. welp, i'm off!

courtney's at her first night of work! she's a waitress at a fine dining restaurant! i went to an interview about an internship possibility and it looks like i'm going to take it! i go in on thursday and they're going to give me a little side project to do. the company is called mediaEDGE and i'm specifically working for a magazine called award. i will be helping to put the magazine online and also doing some design work. i'll keep ya updated on how that goes! in the meantime, i'm still looking for work. the internship gives me lots of freedom with hours and days so i can work as well. gotta make rent!

court and i saw he's just not that into you last night. good movie. not the best, but enjoyable! i actually like bride wars better. more fun.

ummm guess that's it for now.

say a little prayer for all of the families here in victoria effected by the brush fires. it's pretty terrible. they suspect they may have been started by an arsonist. just awful!

Hello everyone! We are going to buy more time for the internet today so when we do we will post pictures of our apartment and all that good stuff!!! internet is up and running in our apt! it took a while, but we got it goin. so i'm going to put up pictures and everything else by tonight hopefully! hold tight...

we're all moved into our place! ohhh and i made a cake like the one on the link i posted. it's sooo pretty! pictures soon. 

and i'lll try to upload a little video showing our new apt! wish me luck on that one.
